Aksharam Educational Fund Inc.

Education provides the depth of vision and broadness of thought that builds strong and progressive societies. It is an indispensable tool which helps individuals achieve their goals and lead successful and productive lives. It is unfortunate that many young and brilliant students have to compromise on their education because of financial limitations.

The Aksharam Educational Trust was started in August 1997 by a small and diverse group of people. The goal of this Trust is to fund the education of economically backward but academically promising students. The current focus of the Trust is to help students who are in their formative school and college years with their education expenses.

Aksharam has been active since the beginning of the academic year starting June 1998.
